Valley of Peace

Yellowstone Estate is in the Araluen Valley, situated in the Queanbeyan-Palarang district of the Southern Tablelands It is the largest regional centre in south-east NSW.

The region operates as a satellite or ‘dormitory suburb’ of Australia’s capital Canberra within a couple of hours drive for those big city supplies and entertainment.

Canberra is Australia’s administrative capital, and home to more than 416,000 people. Two out of three Queanbeyan-Palarang workers are employed in the ACT earning very high weekly incomes compared to regional NSW.

In the late 1800’s the broad alluvial Araluen valley was one of the most famous gold mining towns in New South Wales. 

The closest major population centre to Yellowstone Estate is tourist hot spot, historic Braidwood with many smaller quaint villages spotted around the district such as Captains Flat, Majors Creek, and Batemans Bay and Moruya on the coast.
